“We're trying to create a revolution based not on aggression but on fundamental sanity.
The film will explore efforts to create a societal model where people are empowered, not controlled.”

Never Mind Armageddon is an indie docu-drama in production, a collaboration between filmmaker Christopher Bauer, Emerson D'Vortex, and Carmella Hatch. We are currently putting together our team. If you are an actor in the Chicago/Madison area or are interested in being a part of the production crew, please e-mail us at: [email protected]
The film is a modern tale of the transformation of individuals, Hank and Emily, struggling with several of our most pressing chronic issues: freedom from perpetual debt, finding alternatives to unhealthy corporatized food and living a meaningful life. They find hope every night through mythological figures that appear in their dreams. The story is enhanced by real life documentary footage of various people such as President of the Public Banking Institute, Ellen Brown, eco-psychologist Dennis Merritt, family farm defender John Peck, Time Bank organizer Stephanie Rearrick and others, who offer Hank and Emily (and hopefully you and your local community) concrete alternatives.
